Quiz game

Time for a new round of the quiz game. This time, the rules will be slightly different though:
1. Every participant may send in a question with the answer to the current quizmaster each round via PM. If at least one fourth (rounded up) of the contestants that week can answer it correctly, the participant who sent it in will get 1
point for each other participant of the round, and otherwise no points.
2. Answers are also sent by PM. Correctly answered questions are awarded 2 points. The one who sends in the answer can specify what is to be considered a correct answer, but outside of that, it's up to the quizmaster to decide what's correct.
3. Questions should be findable with the aid of for example google, wikipedia, or this forum's search function.
4. Whoever gets the most points in a round is the next Quizmaster (this can be transfered to another person if he/she agrees).
5. There should be about three days alotted to sending in questions and four for sending in answers (so a round should last about a week).
6. There should be at least 5 questions in a round.
7. There is no scoreboard.

I'll be the quizmaster for the first round. I'll try to post the questions of the first round on Sunday. Feel free to ask questions/make suggestions about the rules.

Coupla questions .... Is the idea then to make a question sufficiently difficult for some to be able to answer but not all, cause you need some to answer correctly before you can earn points off the rest?

by the second point you mean that there may be more then one correct answer (which is what the question maker sent in) but the quizmaster has the final say?

Yes. You shouldn't be awarded for making a question no one can answer, because that wouldn't be any fun for anyone.

I'm saying that if there is ambiguity as to what the correct answer is (if it's a sentence and not just a word/name), it's up to the quizmaster to decide how to deal with it- by asking the one who sent in the question or making up his nmind of his own.

Anything that you can be expected to find out about on the internet in a somewhat easy fashion. (google, wikipedia and this forum's search engine would be the three easiest ways to check)

OK, five people has sent in questions, and I'll add one myself as well (though of course I won't be getting points for it):

1. What are the reputed contents of The Ashes urn?
2. What orginazation, with possible ties to atlantis, is said to have control over the world's government?
3. When's the anniversary of the New Round Table?
4. What's so special about the Mbabaram word for "dog"?
5. What do some consider the coresponding classical elements for the states of matter?
6. What is the North American sports team with the largest number of professional sports titles?

Note that even people that haven't sent in questions may participate and anser, and will count towards the number of participants. Answers are to be sent in friday at the latest.

Round ended with only two sets of answers sent in (probably due to holiday season, so extending it doesn't seem like an option). Correct answers:
