It's Begun!

Unread postby Big Daddy Jim » 03 Jan 2009, 07:47

I have just completed coding the beginning of a new game using the MM6 engine and resources. It is currently under play-test by some trusted "Friends of The Game" for validation and inputs/suggestions.

Matt Otter and Vladimir Maestro will provide various features to the game (graphics, coding assistance, theme ideas,et al). Others may also contribute if they like the game direction (Jeff?).

It has Begun!

Hurrah!

Now, if I can just manage to finish playing the Maestro mod before you guys complete this one...

Who'd have ever thought there would be too many mods to play at once? Just teasing, of course--this is the most fun I've had in years.

Actually, thank you for volunteering. We now have a full 'group' of playtesters.

The files are on-the-way to you now. Have fun!

This will be a modded version of MM6. BDJ and Vladimir joined forces and are modding the game, with new graphics and new events that, I can tell, are AWESOME!

The plan is to use the MM6 game engine and map world to produce a new game with new graphics, quests, and a few unique features not present in the MM game world. The game will have a Medieval theme, original history, and European mythology. Probably not a game for the MM 'purist'.

Will see how it progresses.

Quickshot,

We do need some help on videos for the game. Vladimir is handling that aspect, but will not be available for a couple of weeks. When he returns, you two can get together and see what needs to be done. I'll PM him to let him know of your offer.

Thanks!

I can assist in .exe modification. Handle things like removing events length limit and such.
My patches: MM6 MM7 MM8. MMExtension. Tools. Also, I love Knytt Stories and Knytt Underground. I'm also known as sergroj.
