I voted for the H2 Royal Mummy. I love it when they get hit and say "Awh" and you can't beat the death sequence of the R.M. The unwrapping is classic.

H2 royal. One of the best death animations ever. Of the others, only the H5 one is halfway decent.

H2 upgraded, with the unupgraded and H4 versions sharing the second spot. H3 and H5 are just plain bad.

Half of us + 1 ;) . I also voted for the H2 Royal Mummy (it just looks right...the other ones look freaky).

Heroes 5 one looks like a devious Pharaoh with bandage(might be related to DL  ) *sorry if i offended the devil here*

I like H3 most because it reminds me of a pharoah and I think Necropolis would be nice with ancient egyption influence. The lich already fits into that role too with it's look.

H2 has great animations, but it just looks like a bunch of toilet paper and is too boring.

H4 kind of reminds me of those 1st level dungeon units in H5. (I forgot what they're called.) Pretty stupid nonetheless.

H5 looks like it was designed to make you laugh. The portrait is wearing a green sock on it's head and the armor on it's shoulder looks like he's doing a thumbs up signal to me. Combined with it's stupid grin; I can't help but laugh at it.

Assasins? I don't quite see the resemblance.

That's what it looked like to me too, but I didn't feel like saying anything because I'm always one to see shapes and faces in clouds and the like, otherwise courtesy of denizens of the looney bin. :D

As an aside, mr. hackcrag, I'm always looking forward to your contributions to the evolution threads. You have to be one of the funniest people around here.

H2 Mummy all the way..I love the sounds it makes, and the yellow power thing when it attacks. I also liked actually being able to HAVE these mummies as a base creature, instead of neutrals..

I'd contribute more in other places too, but I often feel like I don't have the energy for it. :tired:

Yeah, the assassain sort of wraps himself like a mummy, probably because he has low self-esteem about his big ears. From far away, the mummy looks like he has a similar hood wrap around it's face, I'm guessing to cover up the fact that he's not as attractive as he was thousands of years ago. His expression in the portrait really says it all. It's as if he looked into a mirror and said, "I'm so old and decrepit; Waahhh!" And then he extends his arms out in horror mummy style. Both suffer from the same esteem problems, so they naturally dress alike. ;)

Also, the slightly hunched posture of the mummy makes it look even more suspicious... :| Kind of like he's been training to walk more like a sneaky assassain, rather than a rigid and inflexible mummy; further blurring the line between these seemingly different units.

Vote H4 mummy

H3 and H5 mummies look too Egyptian to me. There's no problem about it in deserts, but looks a bit weird on most other terrains in my opinion.

H2 mummies are ok, but they look fat and that's odd to me.

So my vote goes to the H4 mummy which looks more neutral to me, and I prefer it that way.

Heroes 2 Mummies look way too fat. Mummies are centuries old dead with their intestines taken out during balsaming progress. Balsaming is the reason why the thousand years old bodiest aren't deceased. That being said, I liked their way of talking and unwrapping. I can't decide which is the best atm thogh.
