It's no longer HOMM V, it's MMH V!
Has anyone noticed the stupid boxes at store.ubi.com? The boxes read "Might and Magic Heroes V":
And, this is for the US market only! What do they think the US market is, full of ignorant stupids?
First, they didn't give us the map, the faction sheet, etc. Now, they've changed the name of the game for us? I really hope the images are old and the boxes are corrected by now! I will not buy the game unless I see "Heroes of Might and Magic V" on the box!

Lol, i definitely hope that this is NOT a printing error. However the design still looks a big stupid. The knight in the front cover made this game look kinda RTS than TBS.
But im sure Ubi will do something abt it. Just waiting for 14th APril!

Has that helped anyone get what they want? The SF crowd is many more than you are, but Ubi doesn't listen to them either. I agree that it's stupid to change the title in that way though.gryphonheart wrote: I will not buy the game unless I see "Heroes of Might and Magic V" on the box!

Yeah, I mean there are no series out there that got ruined worse and worse with each new one...

So this is what they use their lisence for, twisting names and titles to the series? Tsk, tsk
The old titles have been very endurant....until now the titles was the last thing I thought would get ruined. But as shown it is clearly possible, do they have crazy pc monkeys doing all the work over there?
*sigh*

Whoa man! Not every American voted for Bush. He won by only a fraction of a percentage point. In fact, the state in which I live voted against him.JoniJM wrote:*Hehe* You guys shouldn´t have selected Bush to a second perioid.. (MMH V is the price of doing so)gryphonheart wrote: ... Nonetheless, the box looks like someone is trying very hard to cash in on the Might & Magic title. Probably those "ignorant stupids" you're referring to are not even Americans at all.
Or maybe Might and Magic of Might and Magic XAngelspit wrote:So "Might and Magic X" will be called "Might and Magic Might and Magic X".
Or how about making it look mathematical, like ((Might and Magic)(Might and Magic))^X

True, but unfortunately it takes only a little over 50% to become a stereotype (on the other hand, Conan O´Brien has raised laughable-level of his show to another sphere thanks to re-election). ..But I´m willing to cancel that *tongue* as a truce gesture..?HodgePodge wrote: Whoa man! Ps. Gongratulations to your SF(my country´s former national abbreviation, guess why we changed it )-boycot success
