The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2010 opened today, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The even is held from June 15-17, so if you're a gamer, and in the area, you're most likely headed there. Get some photos for us and we'll put them up on the site for you.
The E3 website gives you access to interviews, trailers and daily wrap-ups; you can follow the event on various interactive social media, view videos and more. We are anxious to know more about the Ubisoft lineup that was <a href="/http://pressextranet.ubisoft.com/EMEA/N ... eviewed some time ago - specifically whether there is any news about the Heroes series. Obviously not amongst the biggest games, small hints may drown out in the currents.
For starters, you might want to have a look at the Ubisoft section ...

Once they drop their draconian DRM, I might look at their line-up. As it stands, with this ridiculous DDRM system, I wouldn't be purchasing HOMM 6 anyway.

I think the show is not open to fans anymore, you need press credentials or maybe an invitation from a publisher. But in any case, this year it's all about hardware (Kinect, Move, 3DS, even the Rock Band peripherals, etc.). Even some high profile console games get their trailer and a preview and that's it, people move on to the next thing in line.

Well, Civil V has been shown quite a bit more on these E3 dates (website revamped, gameplay videos, Q&A sessions...) so there is still hope.
Of course, Civ V is in the launch ramp and this is probably the last event they have to generate hype for a good sale in September.
It will be nice to hear about H6 (and to hear they consider no all connected-DRM is necessary for it, beingh such low-profile... ) yet I am still enjoying H5 (and, If work permits -which is by far my first time-eater nowadays- I may even finish my first map before H6 lauches ).

Don't be fooled by the title -- Dragons can disguise as peasants, too

Well, I read somewhere that they might announce HoMM6 on gamescon... that would be august... and maybe EA will bring more hype to Civ 5 on gamescon too...
There's a guy @ my work that stay all the day reading forums about Civ 5... Let's see what will be of it...
Cheers!

Some screens for Kingdoms at E3:

Not sure if they're new, as I haven't followed that game closely.

Apparently Clash of Heroes HD was also displayed at Ubi's booth : http://www.gamekult.com/articles/A0000085140/

Rayman Origins, the only thing Ubisoft showed of any interest to me, doesn't seem to be heading to PC :/. Although if it still used their current DRM it doesn't even matter.
