There's a new movie for Dark Messiah at GameSpot, and unlike the numerous gameplay videos before, that one gave me the goose bumps. It's a cinematic trailer that tells us a little more about Sareth's journey and his allies. We finally get to hear what Leanna, Phenrig and Xana sound like, and there a few surprises as well.

If you pay a visit to the official site, you will find desktop wallpapers for the Mage and the Assassin, a Steam skin and a handy multiplayer Skill Tree (Dark Messiah's own Skill Wheel). You can also listen to three beautiful excerpts of the Dark Messiah soundtrack, composed by Sascha Dikiciyan and Cris Velasco. As usual, switch from the US site to the UK site to find all those goodies.

Finally, the Steam news of last Friday reveal that "the game will be playable on October 25th at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. For the rest of the world, you'll be able to play on the 27th at 10:00 a.m. GMT." The game weighs in at 10 Gig (give times larger than Half Life 2!), so if you plan to download the game, start preloading now.
