Ubisoft has just announced that Heroes of Might and Magic V has gone gold. The game should be in store in a couple of weeks.

Before anyone ask the question, gold is a "term used to describe when a piece of software (or music) is completed and written to a master disk ready to be shipped off for manufacturing."
