homm4 map suggestions

Unread postby St0rmB0lt » 06 Feb 2006, 04:52

Anyone have any suggestions for a good homm4 map for me. I dont have either expansion nor have i downloaded the patchs (will if a link is provided tho). I'm looking for a map/s that are allied or a decently long single player one. Also, i would like if the difficulty be easy-moderate

thanks for your time

Clicky link my signature (map picks). That links to a table with all the information you need - map style, my personal opinion (score rating) and game version required. The top 10/top 5 lists by myself and other map-makers (linked) might also be worth checking out.

St0rmB0lt. Are you totally new to the game? If so, I'd play the campaigns that came with the game.

Of the maps that are included with the game, I would try Land of our Forefathers or Zanfa's Challenge but both are pretty easy.

As for HOMM4 Standard maps, I would download Burn'Em by ScarlettP and A Beautiful Land by Veldrynus and play both of them.

I was dissaponted by A Beautiful Land. It was nothing compared to Draconic.
btw St0rmB0lt, you haven't been playing Warcraft 3 have you? I can't remember seeing the word Storm Bolt anywhere else...

Draconic is great indeed. I've played that map about 20 times.

I'm not new timewise, i'v had it since a couple of months after release, i have beaten all of the scenarios the game came with (besides the beowulf one and zanthas challenge(to lazy too). I only have beaten 2 campaigns tho, lysanders, and half deads
