Hi, a first time poster here.
I just read there's a doorway by the entrance of The Maze in a Japanese walkthrough site, tried to find it myself and wanted to share. I think it exists in the vanilla game. I tried this with only Grayface's patch (kudos!) installed.
Interestingly, even with GM Perception (used mm7che to test this), this door never emits red strobes.
Having been a long time lurker in this forum, I believe I've never seen any post mentioning this chest.
Major walkthrough sites with maps that I've been reading like MM7 Shrine, Mike's RPG Center, eepic mm7 database (S. Chinese) and Chiuinan's MM7 walkthrough (T. Chinese) also didn't mention this room with text or draw the room in the maps. Only the Japanese site hereinabove mentioned this afaik.
Although the content of the chest is not really exciting, I was still a bit shocked as I've never noticed it in dozens of my playthroughs in nearly two decades (I learned there's a secret chest on one of the highest mountain in Deyja that can only be reached by jumping magic in a post in this forum though). It makes me wonder maybe there are more obscure secrets like this in these old gems. (Of course, maybe modders in this forum may have already found it and considered it not worth mentioning?
