I keep thinking it's some sort of plant creature...

Some gigantic flower/vine beast similar to the one you guys were fighting when I first joined up in the RPG...

It likely is, but I'm more concerned why it went after Jazmin in particular .... not sure we'll ever find out either ....

Hmm...what class is Jazmin?

Perhaps it's discriminating against a particular type of person...kind of like fancy AI's tend to do in videogame RPG's

Sun is around, and sort of a super bard. She is the master of all trades.
Jasmin is indeed a Vampire, no real class as in fighter or whatnot, but hey she is a vampire.

Moon is a Elf Ranger/Mage (at least perhaps more, but not near as versatile as Saphire or Sun). She is a unique species of elf in this world called a Moon Elf. She is the only one in this world, but where she comes from they are plentiful.

Jade is a Human Fighter.

Saphire is a Human Bard. Sorry about the updates being sporatic, filling paperwork, getting restraining order and whatnot.

Nah some guy who decided that he would have an infatuation with me after I was nice. Found my number, kept calling and coming over. Finally had enough, had to let the law tell him to stay away. Nothing big.

Oh and no penalties except spellcasting. All plant related spell casting is disabled in this area.

Ok within the 10' circle created by the blade all penalties are removed. Also, if you have not guessed yet the shield Omega is carring is not exactly normal. Some artifacts have a 'will' and can overshadow those who carry them. This particular item passed artifact status a long time ago. It has temporarily transformed Omega into a Paladin and an NPC. It can easily be traded, given away, unlike some items however. Once he is himself again, he could always just leave it. Of course this would mean that he would go back on his word about the rose... hehe. Good news is only in the presence of Evil Undead does it react this way.

A shield like that would be handy in real life...assuming our world was plagued with all sorts of evil undead creatures.
