My computer apparently got fried in a recent storm. That'll teach me not to trust my sockets anymore.

And dial-up may not be the best, but at least you'll have a way to stick around - slowly.

"Got fried" is a figure of speech. Nothing is black and smoking on the inside. It's just not working.
