Yes - Kunkka is one of the two newest heroes in the renowned Warcraft III custom map DotA. He uses the Admiral Proudmoore model and summons ships in battle. When first introduced he was deemed imbalanced and was nerfed in the latest map (v6.57).

By the way, I have stopped playing DotA, and my knowledge of the newer maps is very weak. But I haven't stopped following the game entirely. I know - roughly - what Kunkka and the other new hero Alleria does, but I haven't a clue how to best play them or what the new items do or what new recipes are, etc. I'll probably start playing DotA again for a few months soon though.
