It'd be funny if they made people finger-paint the mountain.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

When asked "Do you have 10 moms?" by a classmate a teen girl replied 'That is so gay.' and got sent to the priniciples office. It even got put on her perminate record. What? Are we living in the dark ages? Some parrallell universe? Sadly no. Now it seems you have to not only watch what you are saying, but how you say it. What I find most interesting is the person who asked the initial question was not given any trouble about it. I guess homophobic is worse then attacking somebody's religious belife (the girl was a mormon). Even though in this situation it would be clear to anybody who has not lived in space for the last few years that it was not a statement about anybody's sexual preference. Here is the link http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17388702 though I do hope the lawsuit fails mostly, the record should be cleared and an appology made to the girl.

Now most of you know I am female and that I prefer females. So if anybody would be offended by certain remarks it should be me. This phrase however, I realize it's connotation, and am not offended by it in the least. Ok so I don't offend easily, that is beside the point. There are certain words that can mean different things depending on how they are used. I get that...why doesn't anybody else? :)

Yeah, pretty gay also. :devious:  :devious:

BTW, what does the word mean nowadays anyway? Certainly doesn't mean happy for a long time now.

Male homosexual, AFAIK. Plus that secondary meaning you used above.

I'm pretty sure that even if it's mostly used for the male ones it isn't restricted to them.

It's also becoming a generic insult, mostly about something being effeminate, but it's starting to just meanabad. "You guys are so gay for making me look for it on my own on urbandictionary.com"

I do love it's 1st definition of slut: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=slut

slut - a woman with the morals of a man

Yes indeed.

Just like many other words that I refuse to mention that are racial slurs and other such insults like that.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17445847/ little to little, little to late methinks. As for the current subject, there is yet another downside to that. The family is sueing. I mean come on, ok I get that their was a permanate mark and yeah getting it off of record is a good thing. But money? *sighs* come on. Lawsuites are a bit rediculous anymore. I think I may sue lawyers for causing me stress with all the lawsuits they are doing. Wonder if that would work :D

I have said it before, will say it again. I don't mind what people call me, as long as it's not late for dinner :).

Any particular reason for that? :)
(There's probably a story behind that isn't there?)
