If I remember correctly the alignment is roughly 6 months away, since Mama was alive during the last one, she may indeed know a little about it. Some elves might also, even if at the time magic was missing from the world, the alignment would have made small magics possible even then.

Well I'm here too, but can't guarantee longevity, only cause whenever Mel decides to actually have the baby, I will be off for about 4 weeks ....

it certainly is .... technically she was in "labour" with the first child for about 3 weeks, but it doesn't really work that way

Hello to all my fellow adventurers :D.

I am Kemdar, a young Wood Elf Ranger. Well, you wouldn't exactly be able to know how young (or old) I really am ;) (elves do live long). I'll use any good old bow (or a spear in dire need), but I much like the shorter ones (those fandangled longbows are slower to use...and let's not mention crossbows). I have a tanned complexion, mostly from all of the long journeys I've had, restoring the balance and such stuff.

If you want to know something specific that I may have not covered...feel free to ask.

P.S: Mytical...where's a nice forest in this world so I can call it my homeland? :-D

that is a good question. There are a few areas that Woodelves hold sway in. I think Pithine (well that is what it is called in common) would fit. It is a large forest 3 days south of the Scar. Oh and here you don't have to remain in character, that is Twilight. This is where you can discuss the rpg, and such out of character :).

Ok. Thanks! ;)

So how does this work exactly?
(I'll admit DL invited me a while back, but it looked kind of complicated :) ).

Not that complicated really. I describe what type of situation you are in, you respond how your character would respond. For instance...say you found yourself in a cave with a couple of hungry Tigers staring at you. The normal reaction would to be to turn and run or back out slowly. Being a Ranger, however, you would react differently. Most likely you would sooth the animals first, then retreat when it was safe to do so.

Rangers are against wonten (ie with no use) killing of animals or plants. You will try to prevent this if at all possible, but if it is for food or something it is ok. You use all of the animal or plant however, and let nothing go to waste.

Hehe it's all the pretty perks they get...lol. Seriously though in most of the Pen/Paper rpg's I played Elves out numbered all the other races by 4 or more to 1. Don't know why. For awhile there nobody but me would play anything but Drow (the GM had them uber with there 'inate' magics being unable to be dispelled and other perks). Of course they would whine when they were outdone by a non-drow female, but that was their problem not mine. For some reason the GM allowed 5 Male Drow to not only 'escape' from the Underdark, but run arround together....weird.

And then their armor would disintegrate (that's what happened in BG2...but there was some exploit to prevent that from happening).

So what's the party lineup Mytical? (who's joined up and what are they in this adventure?)
