@Vulvenia: you mean by TT and DL right?

Well, you're right about right, but I should point out a pause is not always an indicator of a comma, or vice-versa. (For example, people often pause before "because," but in most cases it doesn't take a comma. It's a common comma error.)ThunderTitan wrote:There always shoud be a pause before right, thus a comma. You could keep the one after know, but it's not necesary, and i was implying it should be moved.
It's not a required pause.vaudy wrote: Well, you're right about right, but I should point out a pause is not always an indicator of a comma, or vice-versa. (For example, people often pause before "because," but in most cases it doesn't take a comma. It's a common comma error.)
True.... which goes to show that i don't think as well at 2 a.m. as i normaly do.vaudy wrote: In this particular sentence, the comma after "know" shouldn't be there, because of the word "right" at the end. If right weren't there, it would be optional. "You know" with a comma is an interjection, while "you know" without the comma mean "you know that," which is, I think, what Milla means in this sentence.![]()
And i would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for those pesky blue eyes.vulnevia wrote: yes, we are a couple of women/girls here, i just got the heck out when the places was spamed to hell
