After a while of searching I have found on wikipedia that the Imperial Guard won the Kauravan conflict.

I don't remember Cyrus saying anything about IG victory, but I didn't finish the game yet.

On the other hand, Wikipedia isn't 100% reliable source.

Nice stuff, but I'd appreciate expansion with Imperial Guard as a playable race more than this.

And sorry to break it to you, but Flash Gits aren't in 5th Ed. so you won't be seeing them any time soon...

What kind of update was yesterday released? Steam did download something for DoW2, but there was no mention about it in the patch notes (the last patch mentioned there was from july).

Interesting:

The races are very distinct from each other. Chaos has the Bloodletter demons and Juggernaut units, as well as a couple others you haven’t yet seen, some making their first Dawn of War appearance.

Plague Marines, which we saw in some screens? Or something else?
