Is it just me or do the more egyptian Protoss and Gundam like Marines are an attempt to make it more visually different from DoW?

But now that my knowledge of where SC copied everything is so much better, yeah, it doesn't seem all that cool. But i'm sure once i play it all that won't matter. It's SC2!!!

At this point, it's too early to provide an initial estimate on the release date. As with all Blizzard games, we will take as much time as needed to ensure the game is as fun, balanced, and polished as possible.

I know... duh.

But from what i've seen the Tyranids are the ones that started looking more and more like Zergs after 1998. But they still look different enough.


Oh, and the game has been in development since Frozen Throne came out!


s for release date, you think they'll start selling collectors items from the game a full year before it comes out?!

According to Pardo, the game is "very far along," and that the game is already playable in multiplayer with all three factions.

This sounds good enough to me. Even if we can't rely on a 2007 release, I'm sure the game will be published by the 10 year anniversary of Starcraft (April 2008), at the latest.

Am i crazy or are those turrets firing at ground units (something i've always wanted to see, especially since it was in one of the cinematics; half dmg of course)?!

I know, even the beta was a bit different. But that pic is from an early alpha, not something they spent 4 years on.

Maybe collosus is considered huge unit so it can be attacked by anti-air weapons?

From the gameplay clips the Colossus is an anti-infantry unit, so that's not the most likely explanation imo.

Now all that's needed is for Marines to fire at air units (half dmg too).
