Can One Game Last a Lifetime?

Either Sims 2 (all expansiions) or Heroes 3 Wog (that way I get 4 heroes games in 1:)

For a game to last me a lifetime it would have to be something i could play at anytime just to kill the freaking boredom of being trapped on an island. No game with quests, stories and such they WILL get boring. For me just give me the unbeatable TETRIS! You know you will lose, but you can't stop trying to win.

That would be HoMM4, if I was not alone on that island, and GalCiv2 if alone.
