I could name a plethora of books from any number of publishers who obviously have not been edited at all.
it really is pointless to make a list of poor quality publishers to defend a point about poor quality, don't you think?
next time it could be YOUR mistake people are crying for your head for.
*sigh*

slop is slop, nobody is calling for anybody's HEAD, for chrissakes, but it does tend to erode one's reputation (hence the list of horrible publishers you mentioned yourself), if a pattern emerges.

this isn't a one time thing with Nival and whoever they contracted with to do the work.

Heck, "even" I said numerous times that Nival has a sloppy streak. I hate it, if I see a patch and I STILL find the wrong spell terms like Holy Word and so on. But as I said, I find that Necro mage guild oversight, for example, a LOT more disturbing than the not enought movement points, simply because it affects the game. This is a point where sloppiness in the change log actually makes a very bad combination because you couldn't even be sure it was an oversight until they said so. For all we knew it could have been an oversight.
Contrary to this, the mentioned spelling errors for me are the same as if I buy a book and the picture on the title is not true in color. You say, wtf, but it hasn't any effect on what you are actually reading.

"Fix it" doesn't sound like crying for someones head to me. Maybe i'm just crazy.

Seriously, if you hadn't started to make excuses for it this thread would have died long ago.

And yet you cared enought to keep posting on this thread.

To some ppl it does. Deal with it™.

Now, there's no reason to not complain about a mistake. When and if they fix it we can praise them for it, and maybe make then fix other things after we see it works.

He works with translations. So why shouldn`t he talk about them?

He works with translations. So why shouldn`t he talk about them?
...because for him this is:

1) Not a bug
2) Absolutely insignificant, err, mistake that nobody is responsible for and which doesn't affect anything
3) Something that affects only the English "localization" version
4) Something that is better left uncorrected as to avoid further "whining" about other, err, other non-bugs
5) Something that we, puny mortals, cannot comprehend as to critisize him or anybody else in any way for that matter, so it's "pointless"
6) Absolutely normal, acceptable and expected translator and publisher's behaviour so there is hardly anything to talk about

Hmm, did I miss anything? Oh, yes! Because Jelly is NEVER wrong...

I think that's about it ;)

Err, there are some rhetoric statements you are well advised to abstain from, as a general rule.

can everybody on this forum stop bashing people...?
I mean, i d like to read some arguments on the game not some sort of i am the meanest, and i don t like you stuff...
And btw, this bug doesn t bother me, if you have so much energy to non stop criticise Nival, just learn to code and fix the bug yourself :)
One last thing, is it normal that just because JJ tries to be as realist and objectiv as possible, and has a good opinion of the game, everyone here tend to be ass holes with him ?
I support(ed?) Nival... flame on !!!

Hmm.. might that be cause he called us deluded in the past?! Just like he called me crazy just right now?! Or does he actualy have to use curse words for ppl to be insulted?
