Right. However, the absense of dwarves and centaurs in said town does not mean that you have to replace them with elves...

i mean, i don't.. rules have to be logical maybe, but i liked it way better in the old days of rampart and alike..
I need this type of logic. In fact,I support it.The fact that it has been poorly implemented doesnt mean that the idea is bad.For example,if they removed blade dancers and put in pegasus(with an elven rider),it would be much better. And the dungeon shouldve not been dark elves, but a serpent town with medusas, nagas and hydras as top unit. There you go,unity through race, but not oversaturated with elves.Humans really cant be fixed, because they are boring. And necro shouldve been drawn differently so to look like not every corpse is a human corpse. For example, make the vampires look like elves, zombies like dwarves and liches like inferno skeletons.

Here's something that really sucks. I am registered with Ubi, and of course they know my birthday. So I check my email and I have a birthday coupon worth $10 on my next purchase from Ubi! Well, I was happy until I saw the expiration date at the end of this month. Not in time for the expansion!!! LAAAAAAAAAAAME!

I agree that there are too many elves, humans, and dwarves in H5. I'd like to see more variation in the line-ups in the future.

Perhaps in H5-H6 the factions will be fragmented and brought together anew. Like H3-H4. Since they are copying so much from the old series, why not this as well. When will H6 be released? One or two years?

*envisions a scary thought* geesh i hope they don't go mix mashing them. Could you immagine this line up? Peasant, Demon, Footman, Griffin, Priest, Nghtmare, and Angel???? *shivers*

Then again...could be Pixie, Blood Maiden, Succubus, Random awesome 4th tier, Matriarch, Random Good 6 and 7th tier :) :impish grin: now that...would be cool ;)

You know i consider the Blood Maiden/Fury the worst, as it's basicaly just the harpy without wings. Just make the Raider female to preserve the matriachal theme.

i don't like H5 because of non-mixed creatures, and randomness in battle.

fix those two - a game even better than H3. :)

I think the H4 mix was quite good. Actually, at least as good as H3lineup. I have a new comuter now - it is quite powerful. Finally I can play H4 on FULL resolution...

Except for the infernepolis, the rest of the HIV lineup was quite ok imo.

No, I disagree, inferopolis was a good mix, but it looked awful, and played very different from the rest. That's why I didn't give it a chance until two years ago... Now I actually like it! Appearance counts somawhat in computer games

Why would anyone want to play it like that unless they had a 24++ inches monitor? Things are just too small.

And Infernopolis suffered because of Necromancy. If they implemented some sort of Demonic Corruption option to it (where you'd get inferno troops instead of undead) it might have been better.

That would have been a great idea for H5, if NWC had done it.
