Btw...why do people get drunk? Is it THAT fun?!

I suppose if you are among friends and don't have to drive later

But too much sends you to sleep or to the bathroom neither of which very appealing

I know...hence why I don't like to drink.
I'm waiting eagerly for Christmas though; that's when coquito (coconut juice and rum) is made...

I can answer the question fairly well, there are a number of reasons people get drunk, the main one is probably stupidity, either the stupidity that comes with youth (some youth

), or the stupidity that comes with addiction, or simply the stupidity that comes with a few beers .... the just one more thing

there are also occasions where people wanna forget something for a while (been there done that), or maybe just get drunk with some mates and have a good time

there's lots of reasons, Ive been drunk for all those reasons, excepting the addiction one - I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM DAMMIT!!! the only drinking problem I have is that I have two hands and only one mouth!

but seriously .... it can be quite enjoyable, with some ordinary after-effects .... I've had the pleasure of being passed out twice, spewing numerous times, but I still enjoy a drink .... not so much for the getting drunk anymore, maybe just tipsy for me

I've had a lot of fun while drunk, or in the process of getting there .... and some dodgy experiences as well - it's life
