But Heineken Dark is FAB! It's just difficult to find in this area. Guess that's why most folks go for the Guinness extra stout. It's about the only dark beer that is readily available.

True, nothing like a good stout on a cold winter evening. I love it when I go to a christmas party, it's 30F outside, and people are drinking Corona. ;|

Do you feel this way about all "light" beers, or is it just Corona?

I prefer darker beers myself, but I will drink a lighter beer every so often. I despise Corona for tasting like crap and I am not a fan of "lite" beers or reduced carb beers. To me it's just stupid people think drinking "lite" beer is better for them and then watching them knock back six in a row. Yeah, real good for the body.

Yeah, I've heard that whole "you're a goody two-shoes who never go partying" a few times before. Not that it's not untrue, mind you; I rarely hit the town. But I can drink with the best of them - I just don't drink beer. Never got that bitter taste to agree with me. So it's wine - or if I'm feeling High Chaparral-ish: a shot of whisky.
