Sorry to barge in, but I think it's getting a bit off-topic

War Craft III requires alot of clicking, becuase of those unit abilities
Rise of Nations can get a bit complex, but fun nonetheless

I'd recommend AoM, and it has a very good storyline and the most intense and RTS campaign play i've come across

that's what key shortcuts are for, and you don't playing it at a high lvl if you're not using them...

I actually do play warcraft, and I play DotA (no not another Mod , nah, I know you know DotA)
and the only way to survive is to actually remember all those shortcuts.

Its for me infact the only RTS that the hotkeys are actually used. But of course, that's based on my experience.

If you're not using at least the Attack key you're not playing it right (i still suck at DotA because i haven't gotten used to using the keyboard to cast the spells... )
