I fail to see how BF size factors in?

And it's easy to put in a wiat with the initiative bar- just let it move halfway along the way so it acts sooner.

Doesn't Defend do that already?

If all creatures can go straight to the middle of the Bf in the first round why would anyone want to wait? Maybe in the first round, but beyond that i don't see any reason. Not as compeling as the init bar/defend thing, but still...

Not sure about defend- I don't have the Open beta version on my comp, and some things might differ :D

Anyway, there are some valid reasons for waiting- such as letting a more powerful creature soak retaliation, or waiting for a low mover to come into range, or to let the enemy hero act first... It's certainly more interesting than just skipping your turn.

Yeah, but how does the init bar work? If you Wait now will you act later in the next round? How does the comp figure which round ur in?

There are no "rounds" per se. Each unit type has a fixed time between one action and the next, goverened by their initiative stats. "Rounds" are only used as a measure of how long spells last AFAIK.

And wouldn't that mean that if you Wait you'd also act later then normal even after you wait?

You'd act after half as long time as you'd normally would. And further "rounds" would be counted from that point.

Don't know how it works in open beta. As I said, all I have is not-open beta version. THere, the only button there is a is defend, which uses a full turn.
