That show just got confusing after awhile. There were a lot of incarnations of the show and it got hard to keep up on everything.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Indeed!

There were three series and...it would seem all three were on separate time lines... :S

It was zany fun while it lasted though. :)

Hmm...what else...oh yeah the Gundam series. :)

Zoids too...you guys ever see that one?

You got the line wrong from G Gundam. It's:

"Take this! My love, my anger, and all my sorrow!"

I had that as one of my signatures for a few hours.

As to Zoids, I liked it. I never got to see the end to Chaotic Century, which is a drag.

Nice, I wondered where I heard that other line. :)

As for Zoids...neither did I...I was close though. I saw both series...rather all three.

It works like this:

1. Zoids (that tournament-ish series...didn't like too much)
2 and 3. The other series with the Organoids and stuff. Now that was really fun to watch. I loved how the Zoids evolved over time. :)

Blade Liger FTW!! :)
And I also loved the fact that the villain (for a large part of the series anyway) wasn't some pushover that rolled over and played dead 5 minutes into the battle. :)

Him and his Genosaur owned!! :D

Ah...good times.

I'm trying to remember what the anime movies I saw were .... all I recall is something about an overking or something like that ... and some japanese wording .... it's bugging me now!

I actually work as a graphic designer for a dvd publisher who specializes in anime...

Some of my favourites (but not necessarily published by the company I work for :P) include :

Cowboy Bebop : One of the best SF shows ever.

Twelve Kingdoms : fantasy with a great story and interesting world. It starts very cliché (a teenage girl is sucked into a fantasy world...) but it quickly becomes a complex and fascinating tale. The heroin, Yuko, reminds me a lot of Emilia Nighthaven, and the soundtrack even features some traditionnal celtic tunes that were also featured in Heroes IV.

Everything and anything related to Captain Harlock :) I have been a fanboy of Leiji Matsumoto's universe since I was a kid (Harlock, Queen Emeraldas, Galaxy Express 999, Starblazers, etc)

The Secret of Blue Water : years have passed but it remains one of my favourites series.

FLCL : six episodes of pure craziness.

Studio Ghibli films

and, hum, that's about it.

My all time favorite Anime is: :proudirule:

Ayashi no Ceres

Though not that good like the others. I also like some animes, but I think I have to do some recap.

Another group that I have found enjoyable is the Patlabor series. The first two movies are worth watching, the third one is good but not as good. While the the OAV is fun (more comical) to watch; it's odd as the voice actors are all different from the movie and takes a little getting use to.

Dammit, never did get to see any of them completed. Stupid Berlusconi.

Oh, and i forgot to mention Candy Candy. There was also Hello! Sandybell and another show about Heidi. Now those were some great cartoons to watch as a kid...

My first favorite Anime was Sailor Moon. But that's when I was a kid. Now, as I recall those times, I just laugh at myself.

Hey, the first season of Sailor Moon was a great anime... full of innuendo and sh|t. The only thing i really liked about the other seasons was Sailor Uranus and Neptune, for obvious reasons. And in Candy Candy people kept dieing left and right... they don't make stuff like that anymore.

It's really nice, but I think its too common. And besides, a lot changes when I grew up, and my taste isn't an exceptional.

Well, he is ok and stuff, but he has lost interrest in the Homm series, and visits the place very rarely.
