Yes, but it's closing in on 800 views, yet only has 32 votes. :(

How about giving away a free pike for the 60th voter? That might bring in some more votes. In case you don't want to give away your precious pike, you can then impale the winner with it and make a run for the arctic north, never to be seen again.

H4 version is the one I like the best. One of the H3 ones after that.

Who wouldve guessed that the name change would work?It has the same number of votes as bucket head knights now.

Maybe that should be done with all the evolution threads. Black Bucket Dragon has a nice ring to it. ;)

Voted for the H4 Pikeman, he looks very detailed and the armor, colors and that nice shiny spear all makes him up to look like the greatest of them.

Went with the H3 Halberdier because although it's the weakest, you get so many more per week that it's weekly overall power is unrivaled (let's pit 7 H2 Pikemen against 28 H3 Halberdiers, no contest!) Being the sturdiest Level 1 monster in the game is a huge plus....

Heroes 4. He looks, moves and acts like an actual pikeman.

I'd say Erathian Pikeman, although its garb doesn't provide any details whether they wear chainmail or just a simple cloth (and Pikeman being a cannon fodder) :P and (i think) 18th century helmet.

Pikemen's role as Basic Line Infantry seems appeal to me though, (and let swordsmen being advanced line infantry).. Pike is easier to train

(and for me. Esquire concept being basic line infantry doesn't appeal me though, what's wrong with Lysander, or did designers watch Star Wars too much? comparing esquire with padawan and think it is cool to make an army that has esquire as basic infantry instead of pikemen.... for me. Pike is easier to train than flail, if Esquire is the first step to Knighthood, i'd go for Esquire being upgrade to Swordsman instead of Crusaders... too bad that it is Nival, not NWC... who implement this.)

Voted Heroes III Halberdier. It's one of the best low level units in H3, comes armed with an anti-cavalry weapon and it's dressed in that fashionable blue-and-white roayl Erathian uniform. What more could you ask from a rough and ready poleaxe wielding infantry unit? This unit is the real deal!

Not all the past, just the bits we don't like. ;)

I voted H4 pikeman, btw. I like the H4 graphics.
