What HoMM Needs

Of course, we can already do this, dumping the troops off, but then we are left with heroes having no troops. Why can't we just create armies with command heirarchies? That would be neat.
I dont know how this would work, and it sounds alot like H4 with the heroes of the battlefield. Meaning, you'd be running around with one superhero and x amount of subordinate commmanders spread out. Taking mines, scounting and stuff, and when battle comes you just put them all into one huge army and fight with several heroes on the sideline? If so, I dont like the idea. Or do you see it othervise?
