It's not really a porny pic if you ask me. Nothing is shown like the picture in the DG topic, he was practicly naked...

That'd explain a lot.

Just so you all know... the first real porn pic posted in this thread will see the poster banned...

Personally, I don't mind a bit of hotness, but we follow the normal "American conservative decency" code: no nipples showing, no complete nudity, and no reproductive organs in view. :handshake: That means even "classy" Playboy-style pics are out, m'kay?

Now, back to Caprice...

Right. Of course it's completey indecent to show nipples to a ten-year-old. They might get the shock of their life, seeing a picture of an adult body.
Of course a naked body is a lot more indecent as a fully clad one hammering away with a machine gun oder wielding a nice little sword.

If you want my opinion on this: I think that American conservative decendy code is plain sick.

"Sick" is not the right word. "F***** stupid" is a more accurate way to describe it. As soon you no longer have to suck on your mothers breasts, its pure image will be considered "bad for you". Of course, I can follow their logic: the sight of a naked body will sexually arouse the innocent, unmarried 5-10 year kids, which will result in such wild, promiscuous orgies of fornication in schools and kindergarten, that will destroy our society and make Jesus cry. Coz sex is bad. "We must protect our children!" "Save the kids!" Damn idiots with their child-fetish.

Rule 1 : if you have internet access, regardless of your age, you (your kids, parents, grandparents) have seen far "worse" things than a picture of a naked lady.
Rule 2: no such pictures or movies with erotic content will cripple your child emotionally and/or mentally. If they do, that's because some idiots have told them, that seeing such images will result in an eternity spent in a fiery pit, and now they are scared to death.

Whatever, more chicks:

WTH are you talking about? Are you saying there should be no censorship at all regarding age? Heck why have parents then, let the kids do what they want right?

Not to mention how many law suits have been issued and how many trials went on ONLY because of stupid violence accusations from games and lack of censorship, or rating, or whatever. What do you think is more profitable for the game developers then, for example? To get sued, or to rate their games for the true consumers, because the others sue them? (children's parents). Of course most accusations on video games aren't even genuine, they are off the point, but with rating they will have no excuses anymore. Don't take the world as if everyone is irresponsible like you; they need responsibility for the people and customers.

But I assume you're not even worried about the emo-trend or if a child decides to cut his own limbs for some obscure reason, because of "what he saw on TV" or because he "wants to be in a gang" and starts getting drugs, or even killing himself because "he wants to meet the heroes of Warcraft". And those are far less serious matters.
Veldrynus wrote:Rule 1 : if you have internet access, regardless of your age, you (your kids, parents, grandparents) have seen far "worse" things than a picture of a naked lady.
You do realize there are "parental content" or such on the internet... if you don't use them, at least you can't blame the internet/computer, but yourself.
Veldrynus wrote:Rule 2: no such pictures or movies with erotic content will cripple your child emotionally and/or mentally.
That's a really bold statement -- do you personally know every single child in this world, and how they react? Do you even know that some are even still afraid of the dark regardless of how many times you tell them "it's ok, there's no monster" and all that? And that is only a very childish example, not as serious. I assume you don't want to be held responsible if even ONE of the kids in the whole world is indeed affected, so why do you talk out stuff you can't back out from?

It's really convenient to talk from a safe distance and ignore when things go wrong as if it never happened and take no responsibility.

and righty, there are no serial killers, rapists, psychos or whatever in this world. Why do you think they need mental care? Tip: some of them have been abused as children.

I'm talking about children of course mainly.

How the hell do we evolve if we look at animals at "how we should behave" and ignore all "moral decency" as others put it? Moral decency is there, ignoring it is worse than not having it at all, it means we choose animalistic behaviors when we have the chance not to. It's like devolution.

But this is getting off topic.
All humans do is to go to a place, bountiful of nature, and live there. Then the human multiplies and sucks all the wonders there. They move to the next. There is one thing that works the same way as that: a virus.

Exactly. Children shouldn't be treated as weak, retarted morons who cannot handle any negative emotions.
Not to mention how many law suits have been issued and how many trials went on ONLY because of stupid violence accusations from games and lack of censorship, or rating, or whatever.
Yeah, it's easier to put the blame on those evil corporations (and their products such as films, music games, etc.) for every nasty crap done by our "otherwise pure and innocent" kids, than blaming the parents and teachers for screwing up their education, or even accepting that people are basically violent animals and shit will happen when they are pushed too far.
Don't take the world as if everyone is irresponsible like you; they need responsibility for the people and customers.
Responsibility starts by understanding things, rather by judging on the basis of our narrowminded emotions (we call morals) .
But I assume you're not even worried about the emo-trend or if a child decides to cut his own limbs for some obscure reason, because of "what he saw on TV" or because he "wants to be in a gang" and starts getting drugs, or even killing himself because "he wants to meet the heroes of Warcraft".

The main reason for the emo-trend is that children were fed with a false and too positive image of reality and when they realize that things are a bit different than expected, disappointment and depression will kick in. They will rebel against their (incompetent) parents because it's cool, and they are rightly sick of how they are treated by the elders.
If a child kills himself because he "wants to meet the heroes of Warcraft", then it's OK, we don't want such retarded individuals in our society. Some minds are just too sick, and beyond repair.

That's a really bold statement -- do you personally know every single child in this world, and how they react?
It's possible that there is a child somewhere who goes berserk after seeing on the internet a picture of kitten playing with a chicken, and killing his grandma by trying to push such a bird down her throat. Should all such pictures be banned, after all, there are people with twisted minds.

I assume you don't want to be held responsible if even ONE of the kids in the whole world is indeed affected, so why do you talk out stuff you can't back out from?
and righty, there are no serial killers, rapists, psychos or whatever in this world. Why do you think they need mental care? Tip: some of them have been abused as children.
Right. How does this relate to the censorship of nude pictures on the net? I sense a slippery slope of stupidity here.

Moral decency is there,
Where?

Time for some exotic beautieh':

I'd like to make an apology: I accidentally hit Edit instead of Quote on JJ's post and edited it without realising having done so until afterwards. JJ, I had to delete the post I messed up. Sorry. If there's any way of recovering it, would the other mods to help me :ashamed:

UnluckyDragon, hmm? :P

And is this turning into an Observatory-like discussion war? Because that's what I predict if it goes on like this...
No matter how powerful one becomes, there is always someone stronger. That's why I'm in a constant pursuit of power, so I can be prepared when an enemy tries to take advantage of me.
