I always worry when i dont hear an update after a month, cause a lot of projects end up dying if they have a long period without updatesorzie wrote:We are working on the new interfaces currently. yeah the mod is alive, just hasnt been updated much, and not on here, in fact I haven't seen vlad or grayface on these forums in a long timeColdy wrote:Any update on this mod? Still up and running?

The Might and Magic 8,5 Team is calling to arms!
If you love classic Might & Magic universe by New World Computing, always wanted to reveal its story more and participate in the largest MM6-8 modding project ever known, we are open to new members!
Today's post will be concerning the artists.
1) Low-poly 3D modeling. Dungeons, locations, level design, environment objects. The add-on being developed is supposed to have a lot of new interesting locations which will be using the engine capabilities at their maximum, somewhere even being closer to Might and Magic IX.
2) High-poly 3D modeling. Characters, creatures, building interior scenes. Currently there is a pretty large amount of work on this direction which slows the team down, because we draw additional attention to the quality of sprites and overall graphics which characterize the entire game.
3) 2D art. Textures, concept art, interface art, various. Those who are familiar with Photoshop, GIMP, MyPaint or other soft for digital 2D art are always welcome since there is always work on these directions. Sketches and drafts included.
