I wouldn't even go as far as saying there'll be any of those mixes; they need some stuff for the expansion. And an unarmed Diablo caracter? I don't think so... the game is all about getting the right gear, and no weapons is not really what they'll want. If it's a close combat melee type, it'll have the assasin like claws etc.Veldrynus wrote:I tell you now, so you won't be disappointed when it's officially announced: the last two characters will be the ranged rouge/thief (assassin/amazon mix) and the support cleric/monk (unarmed paladin or with hammers).

But yeah, they'll prob give all characters some weapons, but that don't mean they can't have some sort of brass knuckles to put over gloves, especially now that it looks like they'll be making armours and other stuff more class specific (Wiz had that glove with a ball lightning on it). Of course keeping Katars and maybe using some other real punching daggers would be great.

But it doesn't really matter, it's just that it makes so much sence to have a ranged/support hybrid that I can't imagine it not happening. But, you guys are right, Blizzard sticks to what's known to work..

Anyways; they gave na interview that the 4th character uses an NPC to walk around in the game; the fifth character can't use a placeholder so it'll probably be reliant on animations such as shapeshifting or huge amount of very special pets or both

pls, it sells because it says Blizzard on it... half of WoW's pop is from Asia for that reason alone.

Perhaps it'll also sell because it sais Diablo in huge letters, go figure...
So I might have frased it wrong; Blizzard is a company that wants to keep selling games and doing stuff that people might not like (overhauling the classic classes to much) might decrease their future game sales
(like say doing stuff to the series as H IV or H V did )

Or like D2 did to D1?! Blizz already knows that as long as they do a good job all the ppl yelling how it sucks don't matter, as they''ll buy it anyhow and when the next game comes they'll wine about how they changed what they where complaining in the first place about...

Ok people, so here's the deal. There's good news and bad news. The bad news is the game is delayed by another three decades. The good news is by the time it comes out all of you will be blind and won't notice the graphics you were whining about!
Yeah... man I wish D3 came out already.

Actually it's a whole new UI.
Anyway, check the April Fools joke at www.diablo3.com, it's hilarious.

I like playing with 1 or 2 more friends, but just when you're at the same room as them, so you may speak freely and threat them physically when they don't want to let you get the dropped item.
