I watched Atonement and 1408 in the past few days.

While the first disappointed me. It wasn't the movie I expected. It was a syrup put in some dramatic war story. It would be good, but I saw dozens of such movies, nothing really original.

The 1408 is a light-horror and it has effect only watched alone and at night. Though none should expect earthshaking scariness in it, it worths watching.

Just watched the new "The Incredible Hulk" trailer. Edward Norton is interfering with the writing again. Bombshell.

Edward Norton is one of the best actors in the world. Period. Liv Tyler (rawrr...) is also in the movie. Still, I've got a feeling this isn't really going to blow my mind. I've got a feeling it's going to be "just another superhero movie", released now in the wake of new Batman films, Spider-Man, X-men, Fantastic4 etc. etc. The last Hulk film isn't that old either... so what should this thing be called, a sequel?

A "lets ignore the previous one that didn't do so well"-quel. (early remake should do)

I wasn't to much after the last Hulk movie, it was plastic a bit. But I liked the other comic adaptations. I grew up on comics.

On the otherhand, I watched the "Assault on precinct 13" with Ethan Hawke, and I can tell that's a pretty-above-average movie. It's only a slight copy of Die Hard 2.

Just saw "V for Vendetta". Interesting topic, nothing new, but I liked the English adaptation. Stephen Fry rocks of course, and both Natalie Portman (especially) and Hugo Weaving did very well.

Saw Sicko a few days ago. I enjoyed it, though I realize now more than ever that Michael Moore should be taken with a grain of salt.

I recall being impressed with the special effects... and the evil clown was funny...

Yeh, good SFX, but that's really nothing revolutionary in today's movie world.

Also, I just watched "Happy Feet", a really funny animated movie about penguins. It's great for kids; containing the important ecological message (albeit a little simplistic) so necessary to instill into youngsters today, and also entertaining them.

I was bored with Happy Feet, quit watching after about 20 minutes. I don't think the reason has to do with it per se, just with cartoons in general.

I thought happy feet was a nice movie. Not too pecial, but you are getting entertained by the whole flick. I did thought that the movie could use more humor, the movie did take some timeand i don't think (from a kid perpective) the whole playtime is interesting...

Watched I Am Legend last night. It wasn't very good. Story was kind of half-baked and the special effects were terrible. Skip it.

Watched Beowulf last night. A little undecided on this one. The visual imagery was at the same time kind of cool but also kind of creepy. The characters looked real and fake at the same time. I know... doesn't make sense. Also way too many man-fights-naked scenes. But I still give it a thumbs up because for all its weirdness.. I did enjoy it. Rating: B.
