Actually it was an interesting, moody movie but in the end things don't add up. Had some potential but failed. Many people found the fact that fearing a specific number is idiotic but after all the phobia already existed a long time ago ;)
At any rate if you found that almost everything in your life could result in the number 23 it might have been a little unsettling :D Not to the point of feeling hunted by the number of course but it would feel weird if nothing else!

The exams have started. This will be a hellish month with more than 10 exams (2.4/day), and over 1000 pages to learn. There is even a period of 6 days with 5 exams scheduled.
Difficulty rating: impossible.

Sigh reminds me that I have done minimal effort and we have double exams in a month...If I get 8 out of the 12 subjects I'll be pretty satisfied. Maybe I'll skip a few to have better chances.

Never ever skip... you never know how you get lucky. Just don't study for it and go anyhow. That way you know what to expect next time.

If I had the time I would. But I don't live close to my university and these 3 hours until I get back can be spent better. Plus it's taxing...

Skipping is a very risky gamble at my school. After you miss two classes, the professors send out letters to the dean recommending your dismissal.

Ahem! Well we are more relaxed about that. Nobody cares but after all attendance is not obligatory.

I miss that of undergrad. When it was really cold out, I found my bed to be far more enjoyable then trudging through snow to go to my government class and sleep there.

Attendence should not be required at college level classes. If you can learn the material and get good grades without going to lectures, all the more power to you.

We're talking about exams. And over here most people work, and out of 100+ only about 20 people are in class at any given time in the last years.

Gotcha. Guess I didn't think of that because if you skip an exam at my school, you are kicked out.

Well, I am not THAT crazy. In fact, I hate the university (UBB) with passion. It's a goddamn, shameless scam.

Don't ask me why do I still visit it.
