That about sums it up.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

No depth, no dream sequence, no serious Lupino showdown, no Vladimir Lem, not even storming the Aesir building or God forbid killing Horne.
Actually the plot is similar enough, they just rather neutered it and added stuff for no reason... and that was the Aesir building being stormed, too bad it was just like 5 minutes out of the 10 minutes the actually had some action.

"Catwoman" was an insult to the character portrayed so brilliantly by Michelle Pfeiffer in 1992.
And me here thinking it was an insult to sense... (meh, Pfeiffer wasn't all that good, it's only that she was the best movie Catwoman yet).
Yeah, but BIG mistakes mere made. Scorpion and Sub-Zero walking through 1 door eyes wide open , that is lame and it's not correct to call 1.
As opposed to competing against other opponents to get to Sub-Zero instead of just attacking him outright, like in the games?! Taking out their sub-plot was lame, but they lampshaded it well enough by having Tsung controlling them.

:disagree: Rubbish. She was sublime. And just because there hasn't been anyone to outperform her yet, that doesn't imply she was bad. That said, I do agree that Ledger was a better Joker than Nicholson...

I never said she was bad... just not really that good to be considered sullied by a crappy movie...

Yet another repackaging of the Star Wars films on DVD, with no extra that hasn't been released before, on two separate boxsets... still no Blu-ray edition... the Clone Wars pilot that was not supposed to be released in theater in the first place is already available on DVD... A live action TV show might be in the work, featuring secondary characters...

Come on George, I love Star Wars and I'm willing to forgive a lot of things, but could you please stop raping our childhood memories?
I'm on Steam and Xbox Live.

They're greedy I think. I doubt a TV show would be any good, and how come they haven't realised that the Star Wars movies would be superb for Blu-ray? I feel with you, AS :disagree:

Y'all need to find "Fear of a Black Hat" and watch it.... it's pretty awesome... "This is Spinal Tap" also, even if it's a bit dated.

@AS

Don't feel bad, there is some hope yet:

OH, and i hated those dream sequences... the Valkyrie hallucinations where way better conceptually (ok, i might have some bias as the game kept crashing on me during the "walk on the blood lines" part, so bad that i stopped playing for a few months once before finishing the game).

Hate them or love them they were very atmospheric and gave another dimension to the game. Speaking of which I replayed the game recently and I managed to pass them all without taking a turn wrong :D Man how much I hated it when I was lost and didn't know where the heck I was going.

@ AS: I believe they were working on a TV show in the style of the latest clone wars film...

the movie was a pilot they weren't really supposed to release in a cinema... but the dark side is powerful...

"Mercury Falling" is on Norwegian TV. And on Swedish TV. Imagine my surprise when I got a rerun of a scene I watched an hour ago when I started channel surfing... :|

I saw "Cubic" yesterday, starring Christian Bale (yum!). I've never ever ever heard of it but in case you're a sci-fi fan, I suggest you see it. It was nice and gloomy and it even had a feel-good vibe at the end :D
Has anyone else seen it? :)

Ooooh! "Das Boot" is on! :oex:

This is one of those movies that gets better every time you watch it. When I channel surf I just can't skip over it...

His first movie in which he played if I remember correctly.
No matter how powerful one becomes, there is always someone stronger. That's why I'm in a constant pursuit of power, so I can be prepared when an enemy tries to take advantage of me.

You don't.

He first starred in some idiotic "Hercules in New York" adaption; basically a spin-off from his Mr. Universe career. It might have ended there (with a flopped movie career), if it wasn't for a couple of perfectly acceptable performances elsewhere. Arnie would have stayed a B-movie extra had it not been for Conan; he fit that role so well that Hollywood discovered him. Only a year later, he was cast for the role of the Terminator... the rest as we know is history.

Ooh! Now 2010 is on! The sequel to 2001 Space odyssey. Dana Elcar, I dig that guy. :)

I like him in that episodes of "some law&order type show" where he accidentally kills a chick because she laughed at his muscles... by shaking her. :loll:

Just came back from Changeling. I gotta admit - this must be the first Clint Eastwood movie which didn't bore me (as outrageous as that may sound for some ppl around). Very well done.
