Yeah, we need Heroes 6 announcement. (but I think it will not happen until 2008)Omega_Destroyer wrote:Well, there isn't much buzz anymore. Nival really doesn't do much to help keep the community's interest. The new expansion is nice and the occassional patch here and there, but that's about it.

Hmm Newsweek followed US news in finding out something 'new' (as in not news to me). In their May 7, 2007 issue they came to the startling (as in a blind person could have seen this) conclusion that often scientific tests are 'stacked' in somebody's favor (even if often unintentionally). Here is an example they listed. 153 out of 167 goverment funded studies of Bisphenol-a (no clue what this is besides it is a chemical used to make plastic) found toxic effects in animals. Yet 0 industrial studies found this. Why? The industry unconsciously used a strain of rat immune to estrogenlike chemicals (which apparently Bisphenol-A is somehow like estrogen). So they of course never showed any signs. It was most likely NOT a conscious thing.
If you start with a preconscieved notion of the turn out, chances are your tests will end in the conclusion you thought. Not always, there are exceptions, but you will unconsciously (or consciously) 'rig' the tests so that your conclusions are warrented. I remember arguing this once somewhere ...hmm nah couldn't have. Since this is 'new'..I mean how could I have if this is just being considered?! Sorry just had to do that. If you get a chance, read the article. And remember, you didn't hear it from Mytical first..because Newsweek just 'discovered' this!
(note, I know in all honesty that others have reached this conclusion way before I did. Just being a bit weird is all.)

Be prepared for a very long post.
Veldryn 15:15 And Vel found a dirty old jawbone of a walrus and put forth his hand, and took it, and in his unholy rage, he slew thirty four thousand men and children therewith.

Of course, that's the ultimate question: why does life suck?Veldrynus wrote:Well, I could give you at least 42 reasons, but I won't...right now.stefan.urlus wrote:so ahhh, why does life suck Vel?
