Yeah, I did too. I also bought it. To me, nothing tops Spiderman 2.

As to Ultraviolet, don't bother. Seriously. It's terrible. Futuristic vampire worlds are lame. Killing legions of people that magically do not have any blood is lame. Everything about the movie was lame. The only thing that wasn't were the credits because it signaled the end of the pain.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

:lolu:

Have you seen Æon Flux then? :)

I kinda don't remember anything from Spiderman 2 except for that scene where she's running in her wedding gown in slowmotion! And then something about Peter delivering pizzas ;|

The scene when he has to deliver a pizza and he uses webslinging to move around was a good laugh :D I distinctly remember Molina, I like this guy and I think he did some good work in his role.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Right right....but what about the rest of the film? What on earth happened there and why do I not recall? 8|

Drugs maybe?

Quite a bit happened. Molina did a wonderful job as Dr. Octopus.

In a nutshell Pete is losing his powers and thinks to resign because of psychological factors, Molina gets attached to six mechanical arms and wreaks havoc, MJ finds out who spiderman is.

Probably drugs.

Oh yeah, the guy who's making that device that's suppose to help people but then it starts controlling him and he becomes evil? :)

He just wanted to fund his project, it was for the good of science :D Yes those things did have an influence on him but eventually he got reasonable and sacrificed himself to save the city.

I don't remember him doing that. To me he's just evil. Good actor though.
Maybe I should try and see it again :)

Just evil tsk tsk. Btw a friend was pissed about spiderman 3 because every villain "had an excuse why he was justified" :D In all three movies things are not black and white, it's a matter of morality and circumstances.

Yeah you're right. Though I do get what you're friend was feeling. It's like they're all good in some way whilst still struggling with a few minor character flaws such as killing people randomly and it makes it seem like they're all just average joes.
But overall, it doesn't ruin anything in this movie IMO :)
I enjoyed it very much.

Aeon Flux was cool I thought, spidey 2 wasn't that good IMO

if you like Aeon Flux, check out The Island

The Island sucked. One of the worst movies I've seen, no kidding.

Is he kidding?! Brock was a wacko that blamed Spidey for stuff that was only his own fault. Venom Sucked, but Brock was spot on.

"The Island" sucked for the very simple reason that it's incredibly unimaginative, totally unrealistic and contrary to science. "The organs won't grow unless they're in a body because they need "life"..."? They couldn't come up with anything better? What the hell kind of explanation is that? And they have somehow managed to create perfect adult human clones, but they haven't figured out how to grow an organ in a lab? Talk about putting the cart before the horse. Whoever wrote this script has absolutely no clue. The actors are good, but that doesn't matter. A song like "My boobs are OK" sucks even if it's Kiri Te Kanava singing it.

I'm sorry, I just felt frustrated with that one. So much potential... Johansson, McGregor... Sean Bean... and they still screwed it up. I sat through the whole movie and couldn't get over the fact that the whole story was based upon a bad premise.

Speaking of, I was watching this submarine movie the other night, and it was basically a really bad spinoff version of Crimson Tide. The story was that an EMP knocked out the sub's comm system, and they were unsure whether the EMP was caused by nukes. If it was, that'd mean that WW3 had begun, and they should surface and launch their missiles. The whole premise is false. An EMP can't knock out a sub's comm systems; they're shielded. As are pretty much all modern systems. A nuke detonating over Tromsø wouldn't even overload my PC. Though the EMP would be the least of my problems...
