I had my tonsils removed some 5 years ago.Being a child of a doctor has its benefits.Still I have to have flu at least once a year :disagree:

My tonsils are safe and sound. But I'm constantly sick (cold) during the winter. I remember that in 10 grade i got sick bad every two weeks. I still don't know anything that was taught then.

Creepy..... :| Maybe a curse :devious: Did you do anything special that kept it coming, did you count to 100 and drink liquid soap every 2 weeks, it may be that which caused it, if not then I dont know.
Getting sick every two weeks and have temporary memory loss some time after 10 grade seems like a nasty curse

OMG wheres Sherlock Holmes, The Exorsist, Dr.Who and Van Helsing when we need them? ;|
Combined they could have revealed the mystery ;)

Anyway many people get sick during the winter period, its natural but not healthy in these modern times.

That stinks. I haven't had to miss a single day of high school for sickness *knocking furiously on wood*, but I knew one girl who was out at least twice a week.

Well if i visit a nice beach in summer then i don't get so sick. And my memory loss might be caused by me not going to school much.

Oh and Sherlock kept asking me if i had crack on me, The Extorcist's head kept spinning, Dr. Who didn't have time for me and Van Helsing stank horribly of garlic.

I know some people who get ill in spring or autumn, when the weather changes, but are perfectly healthy during winter, even if they stay out a lot.

I always get sick during the summer, never during the winter or when I have class. Speaking of class, maybe I should finish that paper that's due later today...

Hmm then the only solution is to go to your doctor, I guess he or she can cure you or at least give you rescept on something that can help you ;)
Or you can do the easy way, bring on the vitamins and other nutritiouties from fish, chicken, lemon, orange, blueberry, herbs, herb tea/beer and sometimes a cup coffe may help. But I stick with codliver oil with lemon taste, I take it every day and keeps me healthy :-D
Its not as bad taste as many says, its the original codliver oil without any extra aroma that taste a bit too much fish :ill:

Got dat paper done in about a half hour, didn't hurt that it was only a first draft due. Final Revision due Wednesday.
Now, lets see if anyone else is gonna risk their neck over in the hangman thread...

What's the paper about?

Me. Memo format.
For English 302, Business Communication.
Sorta explains why it didn't take very long to write.

I'll just stick with going to the beach in summer. Somehow I find it preferable to surgery. But hey, that's just me. B-)

I'm probably older than your mother, and I still have my toncils. Of course, I also get laryngitis more than anyone I know... if I get sick, I loose my voice. Gets really annoying.
