Yes, they were the first two parts if the first book. Just go to sunken kingdom.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Relax :) You just have to be on the move constantly, leveling up, visiting the locations and jumping through the gates to go to the next uncharted location. Eventually you will grow strong enough or find a good artifact like the tome of dark - that's what happened in my case. You can also find his town but it's not a good idea to take it because it's a dead end and he'll corner you.

You can break the garrisons with the manticores from the beginning, just have your furies in the middle, hit&run them a few times and then go under the cover of 4 single scouts in a corner.
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

Interestingly, the first Sunken Kingdom campaign hangs at HoF's opening screen (with the defender and thane). I've LoTA v 2.0 and HoF 2.1. I can open both Fires from the North books.

You should remove your files from Book 1 as instructed in the Readme. Not certain but either both campaigns can be played with Book 2 or you can only have one set installed at once. :)

Okay, we hear you... :D anyway I'm not in a position to check right now but I think you will be able to run either campaign if you have Book 2's updated "data" file and all "map" files from both Books.

Read me only mentions removing the first LoTA file and putting the 5 maps in the H5 maps folder. I still cannot access The Black Sails.
