Dark Magic

Yes, I have beef with destructive spells as well. Unless you're dungeon (elemental damages apply) then all you have to do is cast the spell that does the most damage (unless you don't have enough mana). But if you're a destructive hero, you have to have mana! :P

P.S. Also, my beef with all the dark spells is that why would you cast one of those if you have other spells that would have a better effect for the same mana. I guess if you go the MASS curse/suff/weak route then it makes sense to use them all one at a time in succession.

I agree, the lower spells in dark magic, seems to do pretty much the same in the big picture. The 4th af 5th level- spells are great though!

puppet master effects normally about tree or five turns, but when you have really good spellpower then effect is about ten turns (in spellpower 53 puppet master effects 15 turns)

Does "living non-infernal" creatures refer to the 'good' factions + Dark Elves? If so, why would Dark Elves be affected by Unholy Word? (by the way the spell's name would sound better if it were something like "Unholy Song/Chant")

It's called Curse of the Netherworld, and it effects every living creature - whoa are not demons or undead. Dark elves are flesh and meat, just like their sylvan cousins. Orcs are affected too.

True, a but chain shot from a group of succubi still affects them fully, half-demon or not.:)

Still, I never really used neither Word of Light, nor Curse of the Netherworld... Mass curses, Puppet Master and Vampirism are more worthy, in my opinion.
