Oh, well …
I'm flying now, since my roommate just moved out. Just cleared my room, and it look twice as bigger than before.
BTW, just for some testing purpose... Hitler.

I'm not sure I have a lot more to contribute to a college thread, being about 7 years out of it .... suffice that I will repeat my statement that it was one of the times of my life, and should be enjoyed to the fullest

Assignments due date are in 2 weeks time. I have both Java and C Programming Assignment to do. I'm almost done with Java (which is a little easier compared to C, but my C assignment is totally ruined. I need help.
I wasn't surprise when 2 of our Iranian classmates who never pay attention in class hadn't touch the assignment questions yet. One of them came up to me last week to ask which is the assignment we're suppose to do. We got shocked about the other who claim he had finished it, with 1000+ lines of codes. However, he couldn't explain what the codes meant when the lecturer ask him. Guess you know what was coming.

nice, if you're gonna borrow code, at least be able to explain it!a55a55in wrote:Assignments due date are in 2 weeks time. I have both Java and C Programming Assignment to do. I'm almost done with Java (which is a little easier compared to C, but my C assignment is totally ruined. I need help.

Oops. Busted. Shoulda just turned in something half-finished. That's how I got through Cobol. And if they ask you to put more comments, that's when you write a book for every line of code.

Wait, no...even worse!
UBER PWNT!!!
Sorry, couldn't help myself.
Seriously though, you really shouldn't copy stuff like that. And, if you do, for heaven's sake, don't be so obvious!
Reminds me of the time back in fifth grade where one of my classmates did an oral speech, and couldn't pronounce half of the words of the paper he had written.

Oh yeah!
And it gets worse...
That little incident set off the teacher on a 10 minute sermon/conference/lecture/class on plagarism (sic?) and why you shouldn't do it.

Oh, my programs still worked. They didn't all spit out what they were supposed to, but they all compiled and ran runtime error-free. Compiling and running was a huge chunk of points.asandir wrote:did the same! you still get credit for something that doesn't work .... also massaged the output a few times, so it looked like it worked .... that works sometimes!
The written exams kinda proved that I had the theory down. The programming assignments just proved that I'm lazy.
