I have a classmate in college that got GOWII Thursday and beat it already...

I was rather surprised...that game must really be fun :D.

He sounds like a perfect match for a WoW player.

Not really :). Die-hard WoW players can play upwards of 12 hours a day.
I know for a fact he doesn't have 12 hours to dedicate to gaming.

I can't imagine playing a game that long in one day, then waking up to do it again the next day... :S

My record was 10 hours (Super Smash Bros. for the N64)... a feat I haven't repeated since... :)

OK, beat GoW1 last night...fantastic game! :-D

The upgraded Hades magic just totally mowed down the baddies in some spots; I don't think I could have won with out it! The only question I have is what was I supposed to do with those Muse keys I found? I'll eventually give it another go-around and maybe I'll figure it out, but for now, onward and upward to GoW2!

Good job, stefan.urlus. I'm very far into the game right now, with most weapons and upgrades. I'm playing in Titan mode, which is considerably harder than Normal mode from GoW1 (especially some of the bosses). Good fun though.

here's the problem with GoW II for me, I play it to irregularly to do it properly .... kicking dogs and tearing their heads off .... check, smashing undead, then pulling their arms off and clubbing them to death with them .... check, blocking then following up with a 30 hit combo culminating in removing the enemies head .... check, fighting an endless stream of minotaur and dispatching them with twin blades through their mouths while the main bad guy is up on a ledge and out of reach of my blades .... check - remembering to shoot the dude with my bow and actually finishing this part of the game .... ummmm .... hrrmmmmm .... whoops

10 minutes of this before I remembered I could shoot the sucker, he went down faster 'en Jenna Jameson

I've been playing on and off too. Seems I get sucked into some other game just as I start to make progress in GoW2. That being said, this is def one of the best game I've played on the PS2 (along w/ GoW1).
