I'm in a temple currently. I don't want to give too much away because it might spoil things.

Oh ok...I assume the Temple of Fire?

It's been hinted at already, with the Emperor of Fire statement (by the Mystery Man....that guy HAS to be Makoto).

Yes to the temple.

I also agree that's who the mystery guy has to be. Probably something like he was hired to investigate or belonged to some ancient order to prevent people from using magic. Went to school to get close to Toya to make sure he didn't do anything evil and also keep an eye on Atsuma's arm.

That would be the ultimate plot twist. Makoto sells himself in such a freaky, albeit, totally unique way. No one will ever suspect he's so different from how he portrays himself! :D

What golem (if any) do you use? I use APO; those five little critters haven't failed me yet! :)

I was relying on that pink-haird officer. I used the nurse for a bit, and had the APO in my party, but never bothered to use them. Currently, I have 4 party members, so I haven't bothered with a golem. If you can use a character with an ex-attack, I say go for it. Golems are cool, but not as useful as a character.

Oh...I'm at the mines right now. Just started, but decided to take a break when I saw all those rails...(I percieve a pesky cart puzzle ahead :D).

No pesky cart problems. It's surprisingly straight forward.

That would be a first...
Every RPG has a pesky cart puzzle :D:

My list of such games:

1. FFIX
2. Tales of Symphonia
3. Some Zelda games...

I can't believe Atsuma is so thick-headed :D!

Press "A" to use the cart. Um...isn't "A" this game's Action Button?!

Yeah, that amazes me as well. They could have skipped it by actually providing us with a decent manual.

Have you being doing the Golem Battles?

I defeated quite a few, but stopped when I narrowly won a battle with only Atsuma alive. I'll be back later, I guess...

When the linear plot lets me... :devious:

Haven't bothered with one. Just keep playing roulette for chips. I have been growing more and more irratated with my lack of TB. Seems like it takes forever to get a good amount. I could really use it to buy skill gems to help speed up learning a 30k SP skill.

30k?!

Ouch!
Yep, getting TB in this game is tough.
Not harder than Legend of Dragoon though! ;)

You can get some skill that costs 10,000 SP that apparently allows you to double TB earned by the character. I have yet to use it, so I'm not sure how efficient it is.

On a seperate note, I've decided to finally order a coffin from Xbox Support and send in my system. Hopefully it won't cost me too much to get my dvd-rom replaced.

Good luck with that Omega!

Hopefully I'll be able to play some tomorrow. I'll post what happens if I do. :)

I'm up to 39%.

I'm at the Inferno Temple chasing after the Queen of Ice (again...:D).

I have the four character party! :D
I guess Yuki isn't as irritating as I thought she was.

And Ooka just had it in for Raigar...nothing a 777 point High Earth Shake couldn't fix :devious: (after the 2x boost, so it was 385.5x2 damage)

That fight was pretty disappointing because it was so predictable.

Yes, unfortunately. Reminds me how I beat that minotaur golem:

I used Grav Force with Atsuma and just moved away from it's attack range.
It has one cross attack and one linear attack, which means it has a ton of holes in it's attacks. You can sit back and wear him down (which will wear down your VP though).

The Giggling Man didn't surprise me, but the Leader did. I didn't think it was BOTH of them planning the robbery.

Now, I assume Atsuma will have to fight the Emperor of Fire soon and will get ANOTHER EX skill (it seems he gets them everytime he allows his right arm to unleash its power).

As of now, I've used the three Ether thingies to drain the water. I saved and quit there, so I'll have to see what happens...:D

You are going to be disappointed in the next Ex skill.
