Correction: my Internet connection is horrible; it resets every 10 seconds and when it does work, it does so with the speed of a rabid snail.

Right now I'm in a place with a normal Internet connection, redoing the nice post I had at home.

EDIT: post #4 updated with Skills, Perks and Racials.

Meh, they already have too many usefull abilities. And it also works even against them dwarves (3rd atk is no longer unlucky). :devious:

But its very situation specific. How about if luck is +5 and there are two consecutive normal attacks, third one is lucky,if luck is +4 every fourth is lucky,+3 every 6th is lucky.+2,+1 and 0 have no effect.

Law of averages says that that's least likely to happen. But let's wait and se what tLD thinks.

Well, I see the mods are have a good time! :D

@ Skills and Dwarven Stuff
I for one haven't thought about the way the Greenfolk and Dwarven skills would interact; this 'project' was started before any info on the Dwarves became available and me and TT haven't discussed it.

DL, would you please explain that last post of yours?

Sure:The creature has +5 luck,it attacks but gets a normal attack,it strikes again, but again its normal. The next attack is sure to be lucky.Counts both that creatures attacks and retals when determening the number of normal strikes. If the creature has +4 luck, then it can can have just up to three conecutive normal attacks. If it has +3,it can have up to five consecutivenormal attacks.+2 and below work as normal. With -1 and below,it cannot have more than two consecutive unlucky attacks.

Finished updating the Creatures post.

@DL
Now wait a minute, is this happening normally in the game right now, or is it with the Third Time Charm or what?... My logics disk must be faulty today... ;|

edit: There are still some details me and TT need to discuss, but I'll wait until I get a decent Internet connection.

Of course its not happening now.Theoretically you can have 20 consecutive normal attacks with +5 luck, just as 20 consecutive lucky shots with +1 luck.I was talking about improving your proposed skill.
theLuckyDragon wrote: 2: Muffin Man -- melee; enchanted baker (heals a small number of HP on all creatures)

Why not brownie -> hash brownie? With a joint smoke special
theLuckyDragon wrote: 3: Green Child -- melee; steals mana
3+: Leprechaun -- melee; generates gold
How about Leprechaun -> looping leprechaun(generates twice as much gold, can make one target in every battle go insane(frenzy)by its looping laughter and dance)

Might not be much of an improvement in practice. But i don't think it should be improved anyway.
theLuckyDragon wrote: First off, let me point out that tier 7 creatures are not dragons.

7: Fluffy -- flyer; magic mirror 30% reflection chance; sheds fur (resulting in something like a Slow spell); casts spells
7+: LUCKY :D -- flyer; magic mirror 50%; bell song (once per battle, limited duration: boost to morale, speed and initiative); casts spells
(We haven't thought about the spells yet).
Frankly i think i'd prefer Luckdragons at lvl 7, but what's in a name? They do kinda resemble luckdragons though.

So, what do you people think? Would it stand a chance against those marvellous proposals that won the contest?

If you were me, you wouldn't even bother thinking about drawing humanoids, they'd turn out looking like something else...
