I believe it had to be 1.2 as he patched it the day before (Friday, I believe). I guess something went wrong in the process, hm...Avonu wrote:... OK, first question - did you play 1.2 beta or earlier...
With increasing prize it looks more like it have to be, yes.
Other thing I just remembered - why the heroes that you hire from the tavern don't have Blood/Tears abilities? Also, these abilities, looked to me, where REALLY fast to catch. Somewhere around level 10 and I had my Maximum Blood ability/skill/whatever.
What was the second question?
Isn't it first rank/level skill or maybe description is messed up again?parcaleste wrote:2. RIDICULOUS numbers with creatures growth, as you can teach each and every hero at level 5 this skill that gives you +1 creature in EVERY slot (Core, Elite, Champion) per week. 8 Pit Lords per week just because of your heroes numbers, how does this sound? Also, what happened with this (I am pretty sure I read it somewhere) that the core/elite creatures will growth in limited numbers per week (let's say 20 core) of which you will have to choose how many from which type you recruit (15 Archers, 5 Squires or 10 Archers, 5 Squires, 5 Maidens or whatever you want) each and every week?
Anyway growth rate is indeed radiculous, for example:
Champion growth:
+1 from basic building
+1 from upgraded building
+1 from advanced fortification
+1 from superior fortification
And now additional growth:
+1 from map building
+1 for EACH hero
+2 from relic artifact War Banner of the Legion (which is a part of Regent Set, so probably even more bonuses for growth)
Wrestling and Godfather?parcaleste wrote:What was the second question?
What is worry me, that some game magazines/portals already claimed to play nearly completed version of this game (some even wrote a guide for the game).Dalai wrote:Now Ubihole will probably know about it too. Just like every single Heroes player who played H3-RoE. Better late than never, right?Avonu wrote:Yes, it becomes too powerful to hire all heroes in one day and give all their cretures to main hero (like Sandor's map) but HoMM3 easly fixed this problem.
I wonder if final release will be as bugged as beta or we simple get outdated build of game and most of its bugs will be not in final release.
And what with all these balance stuff that players suggested during beta? Will they be in final release or will we have to wait for patch?

Yes, sorry, my bad. You can learn this one in day 1. Indeed, you must have an dwelling in the "city control area" for the skill to take effect, but it is still huge... and in like two weeks (I love playing HUGE maps with a lot of exploring and a lot of big battles). And here is the tricky part: this area of control... if you have 5 towns does it count like 1 (area of control) and you get the creatures boosts?Avonu wrote:... Three heroes with this skill around 7-th level dwelling, anyone?
Podcast and dickhead.Avonu wrote:... Wrestling and Godfather?
Dunno what they are, but they better be...Avonu wrote:... And what with all these balance stuff that players suggested during beta? Will they be in final release or will we have to wait for patch?

The only way that happens is if the devs spent the last 2 months partying and not doing any work... of course that's not as unlikely as we'd like, is it.Avonu wrote:I wonder if final release will be as bugged as beta or we simple get outdated build of game and most of its bugs will be not in final release.

The Witches on the H5 party were particularly outstanding.ThunderTitan wrote:The only way that happens is if the devs spent the last 2 months partying and not doing any work... of course that's not as unlikely as we'd like, is it.Avonu wrote:I wonder if final release will be as bugged as beta or we simple get outdated build of game and most of its bugs will be not in final release.
