If JVC's e-mail was commonly available, the fans would flood him with requests, demands and all sorts of questions. So basically ...

No, he's not available.

Maybe getting a kickstarter or some other crowd funding project just so he agrees to do one comprehensive interview would be quite an idea, whatcha think :D I'd surely contribute

1. First you'd have to contact him. Nobody will back a Kickstarter to publish an interview with a guy who has not agreed to be interviewed.

2. Speaking personally, I don't think an interview with JVC would be worth much to me. If he could be convinced to make some new RPGs in the NWC continuity universe I'd be up for it, especially if he could get some other key members of the old team together. But he'd have to be interested in it. And he'd have to step so very carefully around Ubisoft that it would be unlikely to be worth it.

I think we're just going to have to accept that MM8 is the end of the series, and the story is complete as it stands.

Or MM9 if you're a glutton for punishment.

Does anyone have an actual way to communicate with Jon?

Someone does, absolutely. He lives in a modern world after all.

worth to consider what you really want to contact him for anyway, I can't figure what any of us have to say for him that is original or significant importance,

if it is just to say hi and cheers for the games mate, I bet he heard that plenty before lol

if it is a design, lore or philosophy question, he probably does not remember and someone else would remember better (if anyone does) lol

This is just a hunch but I bet if he could know fans would really LOVE him to get his IP back and recreate the magic of MM on PC he'd do it. But the letter would need to be good enough to reach him, not just begging or so.

Have it posted here as a POTD, then, and maybe he'll notice it. ;)

er but he already did that mate, it is in fact your current POTD right now lol

JVC was quite hands off for most of the Enroth games and apparently does not remember obscure lore details to correct them but other past NWC guys do, talk to them IMHO lol

MMXAlamar wrote:Awhile ago was talking to Tim Lang about the intro cinematic from MM6 and he said that the video was made before JVC drew the map of Enroth for MM6. Tim also said there was never a "huge world map" with everything on it for the entire planet.

That is the brilliance behind this whole discussion - there is no one true design of Enroth!
EDIT:
Tim Lang wrote:I wouldn't put too much stock in that picture [referring to the MM6 intro video]. That whole movie was made before JVC even created the Enroth map for MM6. As far as the Enroth map, we had a meeting on a friday where JVC said he was going to create a map over the weekend, and then came in on Monday with a map.
