I agree in everything you say, LordHoborg:) The portraits is what counts! And of course, all the 171 halberdiers in the same stack look alike... H5 creatures in general are actually quite distinguishable. Just different from earlier games. I have great anticipations for this game!!!

Of course.It is much better to make alterations to a stack(read:make it glow in the dark)and call it an upgrade than to make a new unit and call it an alternate unit to buy at the same level.

I liked the dragon in H2- two upgrades GREEN-RED-BLACK! The feeling of power!!! Nothing is quite as good.... In a heroes game, that is:)

inferno look nice, better than elves, they feel well individualised and look very different; so campaign heroes will not be in single player mode (like Agrael, too bad)...
