We only get the ones that sound alarms when you try to leave the store.

I got one of those in a big basket full of Christmas gifts once! ;| GEES! They had to go through all my bags to find the stupid thing. Out of all the clothes and CD's and movies and stuff I bought that you would THINK would have an anti-theft thingy on them - the sensor was in a DUST BUSTER!

Like OD said: a device that spills ink on the clothes if attempted removed.
We got rid of the sound alarm many places here cause it's so easy to just carry your bag over the alarm detectors. No one would even notice :disagree:

we have both types over here .... some use one type other stores the other

I have contact mostly with business customers, but there was a time when I dealt with residential customers .... Jesus but I hate them .... the plain stupidity and self-importance of some of the plebs just gets me :D
