Walter Reed and the sad excuse for humans who ran it. Lately in the news is the Walter Reed Army Hospital. This is where people, doing just what they are told, who get hurt come to in order to get better. Mold and rats were found in this place. Patients were sometimes left to get help from each other in order to get the medical care they needed. Yet the people in charge had 'no knowledge' of what was happening. Then why were they in charge in the first place? So you are not criminally negligent, just stupid and incompitent. Sure. One even said "we were busy." making me want to strangle them while asking. Busy doing what? Everything BUT your job? Just a sad thing. I don't always agree with the government (ok rarely) but the soldiers are 90% just pawns in their little games.

Nothing really important, just some random spamming.
Veldryn 15:15 And Vel found a dirty old jawbone of a walrus and put forth his hand, and took it, and in his unholy rage, he slew thirty four thousand men and children therewith.

Corp RPG, newest thing on the block...The big corporation sends you out to steal a car, but first they have to sell you the "Acme Car Stealing Kit!".
Along with weapons just in case, ammo for those weapons, and rent you a place to stay while you are casing the area. After you successfully steal the car (which the corp turns arround and sells at auction) you are then asked to get rid of giant person eating plants.

"But they are giant and they eat people...how am I supposed to kill them?"

"With the New and Improved Mutant Plant be Gone. Yours for only 199.99"

"You are only paying me $200 to kill them!"

Yes the Corp RPG, where if your lucky you will make a profit of 1c per quest. You will toil away level after level after level doing menial tasks for low pay, and having to buy all your equipment for each task. Good luck eating, doing anything fun, or taking any time off. Have fun!

The proceeding was because I have been stuck in a cubicle for the last 10hrs and have gone stir crazy!

Yeah, but I didn't get wasted lika lot of people. Something about getting too drunk to think straight isn't very appealing anymore.

After posting a warning about a pet food recall in the pet picture thread I thought I would come give my random thought for the day. It is to do with..pet vehicles. Seen a dog yesterday in a mini car..don't even want to consider how the pet drives the vehicle (probably the owner with a remote control, but ya never know). Now apparently this was a demonstration model because it had a price tag on the side. $1500 dollars....down another 100 month for 12 months..for a grand total of 2700 cash so your pet can ride instead of walk. *sighs*. Now we are getting so lazy that our pets can't even walk???

I just had a great idea. Whoever wants to or has passed a law concerning child discipline should be forced to raise 3 of the brattest brats (each) for a couple of years. Then the laws should be revoted on, with them knowing each time they pass the laws, they must raise those children 3 more years. Now I am not for beating or anything, and anybody who beats a child should face dire consequences. I am talking a belt accross the rear, of for very bad cases a paddle.

I had occassion here recently to go to a very good restaurant on my brothers dime. The service was wonderful, the food was magnificent, and the atmosphere was astounding. At least, till half way through the meal. Then 'they' arrived. A mom, a dad, and 3 'things' I will regretfully call children. I love kids, but these were demons disguised as kids. Tantrums, running, throwing things..you name it they did it. The parents seemed oblivious also. I finished my meal hastily and got out of there. After I felt sorry, because my brother had pulled in some favors, and spent a good deal of money to get a table at this place. The waiting time is more then a month usually.

Meh. Bad parents will always be bad parents, regardless of whether they can hit their kids or not.
