I didn't care for the updated story either. The original 1951? production despite lacking special affects was a better movie.

I hope that you mean that you LIKED the fact that all the effects in that movie were physically done. There IS NO CGI in that movie. Personally, I prefer physical effects, make up work, etc. to all the CGI.

I found it super cool, and the fact that some people die is a good thing .... adds to the realism .... did I just say realism? :D

Saw Blades of Glory and The Fountain tonight.

Blades of Glory - What can I say? Will Farrell is hilarious, in his own disturbing kind of way. Great stuff! :)

The Fountain - Fascinating. If you guys see me talking about random time theories, you can blame this movie for that. ;)
It is somewhat confusing, but it has a great plot. :D

I like both 'Things'. Also the original story, 'Who Goes There?' by the great John W. Campbell. It was in a collection I had as a kid and scared the willies out of me. Carpenter's monster was much better and the direction was superb.

With Rowdy Roddy Piper in the lead. He was good. Really.

I would also recommend: This Island Earth, It! The Terror From Beyond Space, and 20 Million Miles to Earth.

Right now i got myself Horror Express, which if my memory is correct used to scare the crap out of me when i was little that i never could watch all of it. Of course i remember it looking way more grainy, but that might have just been the crappy tv set...

She's OK, but i really don't see anything special. Then again i keep hearing all sorts of foreigners saying how beautiful most of our women are, so maybe y'all have lost of ugly females in your countries.

Now get back to good movies, and NO, having her in them doesn't make them anything but a pile of crap.
