And the funny thing is they're bringing back some removed DoW features. And they're for MP anyway.

Actually it's great that they continue to change the game so it remains fresh and fun to play. The prime point is balance'n'bugs ofcourse but the new research and stuff adds in lots of fun

And when are any of you prepared to challenge me?

I didn't even bother with the old patch because it really nerfed the Orkz, and that was the campaign I was working on.

I finished Orkz on the hardest difficulty... just get the upgrade that makes Sluggas free and spam them to no end.

I still haven't finished it yet. Got a little bored after the beating it with 5 races. Just seems tedious at that point. Plus I've never really like the Orkz. I'd much rather play as the Tau or Necron.

I will say finally being able to attach Chaplins to squads is a nice change.

Green Tide indeed... made them somewhat funner to play then the others.

I want to play DC again, but as far as i know there are no user made campaign maps like in HoMM... skirmishes are boring and i've never much been into MP either.

Yeah, that's a drag. The campaign gets old after awhile. You think they would have some campaigns out there like the Eye of Terror or Armageddon or something.

Other then SC i don't remember any other RTS that had extra campaign maps... a pity.

Try picking up Rise of Nations Gold Edition. The expansion comes with the Conquer the World campaign the first had, and 4 additional campaigns: Alexander the Great, Napoleon, The New World, and the Cold War.

I should really reinstall it.

Yeah...Rise of Nations is pretty good...even beat a Toughest AI once...got nuked 8 times.

They do take some getting used to. If you are looking for more of fantasy RTS, I highly recommend Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends.
