I liked her in the league(interesting though had some strange concepts - What's with Nemo being like that?) though I could not agree more about Kate!
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

I really liked it. Alan Moore is brilliant. Speaking of which, we should be getting the Watchmen before long, shouldn't we?

The acting in "League of extraordinary etc" is very good. It's the whole movie, its plot and the way they decided to do the whole movie I'm unhappy about.

Yes, that's what I meant. I couldn't get past the dreadfdul script and directing.

Sean Connery was very good in it and it may be one of his last movies, since he is insisting on staying retired.

It's Avengers all over again. Great actors (and I mean the best in the world), but the story was just shait.

What? There was a script? I thought the idea was a random improvisation of a masquerade, with famous stars running around without any purpose, killing random foes and stuff.

On the other hand, the chick was cute, so the movie is OK.

Yes, the plotline was not very good, but there was lots of action and good effects. I suppose my affection for the comics carried over to the film, and I thought the casting was quite good. I will admit, the film did not very well capture the atmosphere of the comics, however. I just loved the characters.

There were a few good lines, like when Dorian Gray was shot. What are you?" he is asked as his wounds vanish, to which he responds with a smirk and a yawn, “I'm complicated”.

The Avengers was a disappointment as I was a fan of the TV show and even liked the New Avengers follow on series. I did enjoy "Extraordinary Gentlemen" it was not an Academy Awards movie to say the least, but it had lots of action, it did not try to deliver a social message and the acting was good as were the effects. If you did not like it, that's cool but when I watch it I don't feel like I wasted my time. :D
